Should you desire a proposal
from Up & Running regarding your upcoming project then the process
moves much faster if you are able to outline the goals for your web
presence with as much detail as possible.
1. How many pages do
you expect your web site to be? What pages do you envision?
2. Will you be
providing the marketing copy, in whole or in part?
3. How many photos
will you need Up & Running to scan or take for you in a photo
session?
4. How many photos
will you provide in digital format?
5. What features would
you like to incorporate (form mailing, discussion groups, etc.)?
6. Are you going to be
selling products or services by credit card?
7. List any sites you
have seen that will assist us in evaluating your competition or
designing your site.
8. Give us an idea of
the style or theme you desire. (conservative, clean, flashy,
visual, text based...)
However, some businesses
and owners do not have the time or inclination to do all this work
before our meeting and they just want to hire us to do a web site
and get it done.
We can work that way
too. In that instance we will need to meet with you either
over the phone or in person to get some information from you. It is
really good if we have your logo so that we can get some sense of
design style and colors. From there we will develop a concept
for your approval and develop content as best as we can based on
your existing literature and information and on your business type.
The final results are subject to your approval but we can take this
project off your desk and get it onto the web with minimum input
from you if that is your preference.
In other words, we can
develop a site with very little input from the client or by working very
closely with the client.
